Child First
Every decision we make serves the best interest of the child.
Precious Gift is one organisation with two connected purposes, protecting vulnerable children and families, and guiding ethical adoption. Both exist to serve the same promise.
Precious Gift Adoption is a Ghanaian child and family welfare organisation and adoption agency, based in Accra. We work on both sides of one promise: that every child deserves the security of a safe, loving, and permanent family.
On the welfare side, we strengthen families and protect vulnerable children in their own communities, so that children can, wherever possible, grow up with their own families. On the adoption side, we guide prospective parents through an ethical, carefully managed journey, in line with Ghanaian law and always in the best interest of the child.
We believe adoption is a legal, child-centred process, never a transaction. We take time to understand each child's needs and each family's readiness, and we walk beside prospective parents from their very first question through counselling, preparation, assessment, placement and the years that follow. We never present children as available for selection, and safeguarding guides everything we do.
A Ghana where every child grows up in a safe, loving, and permanent family.
To protect vulnerable children and strengthen families across Ghana, and, where a child needs a new permanent home, to guide ethical, child-centred adoption with support at every step.
Six commitments that guide every decision, every program, and every conversation.
Every decision we make serves the best interest of the child.
Ethical, lawful and transparent in everything we do.
We meet every family with warmth and without judgment.
Children and families are people, never cases or listings.
Qualified, careful and accountable in our work.
Sensitive information is protected, always.
Behind Precious Gift is a caring, professional team committed to children and families. Our people bring experience in child welfare, counselling, family support and the adoption process, and they share one belief, that every child deserves to be safe, wanted and loved.
Whether you are exploring adoption, seeking support for your family, or looking to partner with us, you will be met by real people who listen, guide and stand with you. We treat every family with warmth, respect and complete confidentiality.

He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work and is currently pursuing his PhD.
