Prospective Adoptive Parent Preparation
Adoption is a life-changing step. Our preparation program equips prospective parents with the understanding, readiness and support they need before a child comes home.
Purpose
To help prospective adoptive parents feel informed, prepared and supported, and to meet the preparation and training expected within Ghana’s adoption process.

Common questions
Do I have to complete training to adopt?
Yes. Adoption-related training is part of the process in Ghana, and at least thirty hours of training is expected for in-country adoption. It is designed to prepare and support you, not to catch you out.
When can I start?
You can start with a conversation at any time. Reach out and we will explain the next step for your situation.
